Yerkes National Primate Research Center is
a multi-disciplinary research institute within Emory University's
Woodruff Health Sciences Center.
Long recognized as one of
the leading centers for biomedical and behavioral research
with non-human primates, Yerkes is
focused on the following goals:
- To conduct a research program
focused on scientific problems relevant to human health and
the mission of the National
Institutes of Health.
- To provide the resource
infrastructure and expertise in appropriate scientific and
veterinary specialties to support the research
program.
- To serve as a resource for scientists from around
